Message from the Director
Dear Fellow Artist,
Thank you for auditioning for Steal Away. To equip you to deliver your very best audition, please find my notes for your character you’re reading for on the appropriate CHARACTER CARD below.
Ten years in the writing, Steal Away is an epic motion picture featuring a kaleidoscope of colorful characters, many with sweeping dramatic arcs. Each role will be cast with the artist most able to bring that character to vivid, unforgettable life. If that's you, then we want to find you.
Help me find you.
To give your audition additional avenues to be seen and considered by Steal Away’s decision-makers, I invite you to share it on social media, specifically TikTok, using Steal Away’s hashtags. While auditions submitted through a breakdown service will be seen by our Casting Directors, auditions shared on TikTok will also be seen by our producers, our entire production team, and myself, as well as movie lovers and influencers around the world, all of whom will be directly monitoring TikTok for outstanding auditions. Outstanding artists brought to our attention via TikTok will be fast-tracked to me for consideration.
Please note that sharing your video online is purely optional. Auditions submitted via a breakdown service will be given full consideration by our casting team whether or not shared on social media.
Sharing your audition is simple:
First, submit your audition through the breakdown service that provided your sides. (Important: Please self-tape your audition in PORTRAIT orientation.)
